Central Coast Hijinks

So Nick was supposed to take me on my surprise trip today, but the ‘place’ called up and said we couldn’t do the ‘thing’ today because it was too wet because of the rain. And so we are going to do it next Sunday instead. Since being ready to leave the house at 9:00AM today we decided to make the most of the day by driving up the coast to Avoca and Terrigal for lunch! And I took the photos to document the day!

Another week

So I went to Hot Damn for the second time this year. I’ve become such a recluse and hermit lately but it was good to go out. It was interesting to see some people there haven’t changed and those that have changed generally have made a turn for the worse. Despite some losers, it was nice seeing the chill people who don’t take themselves too seriously. I had a good time and danced and talked rubbish and drank. Some guy offered to smell my armpits for free to tell me whether or not I smelt bad. I declined haha.

Next week I have a job interview with ANZ Stadium. This is cool, I would love to work in a venue and get higher up the ranks. I also applied for TAFE last week, but I’m not sure if I will go but its still good to have the option there. I applied to do the Music Industry (Technical Production) at North Sydney Tafe. So yeah. Future plans. I rule. Oh and I can finally pay my phone bill  tonight after it being 2 weeks over due.  Happy about that.

Nick is taking me on a secret adventure on Sunday. Very excited and nervous. Should be wonderful. Oh! And my Katy Perry tickets came in the mail yesterday! Very happy.

Another Friday night at home. Being awesome.

PCD/LADY GAGA

So on Friday, Lisa took me with her to see the Pussycat Dolls and Lady Gaga at Acer Arena. There were lots of skanky Supre clad bogans, but there were also the fashionista boys with their Gaga eye make up. There were pyrotechnics! And lots of moving lights. Lots of work went into the production and it was well worth it.

Lady Gaga had this whole movie that went along with her show. It was kind of odd and spooky. She called herself Candy Warhol.

You can’t see it, but in this photo she was wearing her long hair extensions in the back of her hair so it was some kind of retro mullet. She took them out for the rest of the set though after the next costume change.

Oh Doctor, Doctor.

So after having a big cry and upsetting myself and Nick, I am feeling much better today! I wish I wasn’t so stubborn and didn’t blame myself for everything… But hey, baby steps right?

So I think I’m going to apply for Tafe. I don’t really agree with the system, but I guess I should give it a go.  I’m going to apply for the Music Industry (Technical Production) course. I get worried about trying things because I’m afraid I’m just going to be bad at it and just get upset when I can’t do things (which is probable), but I need to overcome this because I can’t go through life not doing anything because I’m scared all of the time. Well, applications close on Thursday… So we’ll have to wait and see if I actually get it in on time.

-Download Photoshop
-Finish Application
-Go to the gym

Will post later to see how much of this list I actually get done. I want to post all my pictures from the Pussycat Dolls/Lady Gaga show, but can’t because of the lack of Photoshop. So there will be a PCD Post soon.

I’m feeling pretty good today! Which is good! I’m hoping this mood sticks around because despite crazy shit, I want to be my best for Midyearscastle. And for all of you who don’t know what Midyearscastle is, its our sequel trip to Newcastle after our last visit for Newyears(castle). I’ve made a mix tape as well. This trip’s tape on Side A has a more Hip-Hop/RnB feel to it and Side B contains some classics, sing-a-longs and maybe some new material also! I hope the girls like it as I’m not sure if it will live up to the Newyearscastle Mix Tape. Very very excited about the trip. Which means I won’t be posting here for a couple of days (tragedy!) , but I’m sure I will update on my twitter occasionally for those of you who care. So siked! Will return probably Sunday.

I know this is kind of an old topic, but it still really bothers me and I feel like I need to vent about it. I’m still really offended by the general being of Miss Carrie Prejean a.k.a Miss California. Thinking about her existance and ignorant views makes me feel sick to my stomach. I wasn’t aware that being a Christian entitled you to pass judgement on social groups as a whole, let alone any individual. I feel incredibly sorry for her narrow minded peanut sized brain, but I also feel sorry for genuine Christians out there who are now getting a bad rep just because of one dumb bitch. Ultimately what she is saying (to me) is that she is better than and above  homosexual people because they don’t deserve the same rights as her. And I thought the main fundamental belief of Christians was to love everyone and love God? I don’t really see how this is loving at all. To make this more exciting, werd on the interwebz is that there are naked photos of her soon to be released! Wow, she really deserves this Miss California title. You know, being a model citizen; promoting equality and trying to change the world positively. Of all states, she comes from California which has a large gay population, you think they could have selected better representation. I can’t fucking wait for this idiot to have her crown removed. One day if I am to have children and should any of them be gay, I will love them unconditionally. I also would like them to have the same rights as me, because lets face it. Love is love. I would hope they could live without discrimination and could live in a happy environment, but with idiots like Miss Prejean in this universe, I don’t think this will be acheived anytime soon.

It might seem like I’m just attacking someone just because they have different views to me (which may be true). But if you’re going to have such offensive views, shouldn’t you at least be able to back them up.  Carrie Prejean on Civil Unions  in a recent interview:

“But I think that there should be rights for people, you know, especially in California. I think that people that are homosexual should have some rights, you know, hospital rights, and things like that.

But I would like to be more educated on that, so when I do have a better answer for you, I will get back to you on that one.”

Ummm. Shouldn’t you not be interviewed if you can’t give sufficient answers to questions? You don’t even have a proper opinion on something that is completely relevant to your beliefs. Maybe if she was more capable of giving better answers she might actually be Miss USA today (but thank God she’s not).

Anyways, I could go on longer with other quotes and acts of idiocy, but I have stuff to do today. I didn’t have time to read over this post, so I’m not sure how much sense this makes, but I’m sure you get my general idea.

Am I just bad luck?

Additional hormones are not really helping my already emotional trainwreck of a life. I would give anything to just run really really far away and never look back. I don’t want to be at home anymore as this place I no longer consider my home but more of a  personal prison.

I’m going to turn 20 this year and I will have nothing to show for myself at all. I just want all this crazy to end immediately.
